SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (Dec. 7, 2016) – Talking Stick Resort will once again welcome comedian Kathleen Madigan to its Salt River Grand Ballroom stage on May 13, 2017 for the Bothering Jesus Tour.
Throughout the course of her 25-year career, Madigan has performed on the most renowned standup programs on television, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and, most recently, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. She has released five studio albums and three DVDs, and has starred in specials on HBO, Comedy Central and CMT. Her hour-long special Gone Madigan first premiered on Showtime and is available on Netflix.
In 1996, Madigan was dubbed Funniest Female Stand-Up Comic at the American Comedy Awards. She has been called “the funniest woman in America” by Lewis Black and, according to Ron White, is “one of the best comics alive.”
