(Aug. 10, 2015)-Talking Stick Resort is proud to announce that its on-site florist, Christine Price, has been inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and received the Accredited in Floral Design designation. Price was honored during AIFD’s five-day 2015 Symposium "Journey," which began on June 30 in Denver, Colo.
"Creating floral arrangements is my ultimate passion," said Christine Price, lead florist for Talking Stick Resort. "I still wake up each day with a renewed excitement to create. Receiving the coveted designation and induction is a huge honor."
AIFD is a non-profit education association that specializes in the development of floral design. The organization has more than 1,500 members—all which encompass the title of a Certified Floral Designer (CFD). In order to earn accreditation, florists must showcase their skills and abilities to an international judging panel for consideration.
